Yes, we have heard all the jokes. Although we share the same names as the John Cougar Melloncamp song, that is where the similarities end. We grew up together and were friends since grade school. At first, you would not think that we had much in common. But we did share one major commonality, we were social pariah. We just were not “cool.” Even the geeks thought we were too geeky to hang out with.
